First, for the ease of other readers, I prefer chats to be in the same talk page, so I'll wait for you to reply here.

Second, I'm not saying it's not a coconut palm, only that I, a definite non-expert, can't tell. You put it in the coconut category here, in 17:12, 5 January 2020; which I don't have, and apparently no one else in almost a year has, a problem with. As I assume your good faith and knowledge sufficient to identify, it can stay there. I figured I'd add Category:Arecaceae in Seychelles and Category:Unidentified Arecaceae if there was any possible uncertainty (and Category:Arecaceae, earlier), also the latter might apply if there were a wide variety of coconut trees. It was a quick decision on my part, I readily accept my edits might have been in error, but that, FWIW, was/is my thinking. DMBFFF (talk) 18:22, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

Well, as far as I know Cocos nucifera is currently the only species within the genus Cocos (see the Coconut article on English Wikipedia). So, no - there are no other coconut trees. That's the reason for which Coconut trees by country is a subcategory of Cocos nucifera - and it wasn't me who put it there. Therefore, IMHO the picture shouldn't be in both categories Coconut trees in Seychelles and Unidentified.... Either we say it's a coconut tree (I'm not an expert either, but as far as I can tell it is) or we need to identify it. It can't be both. --Botev (talk) 10:05, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

Istnieje co prawda strona podaj?ca dat? budowy 2018, ale ewidentnie odwo?uje si? w?a?nie do tego napisu. Greetings from Wiki Loves Folklore International Team!

Wiki Loves Folklore is an international photography contest hosted on Wikimedia Commons to document folklore and intangible cultural heritage from around the world, such as folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, folk activities, folk games, folk cuisine, folk wear, folktales, folk games, folk religion, mythology, and many more.

The campaign invites participants to document photographs, videos, and audios linked to folk culture and fit within the contest's theme. Through this campaign, you may become a part of a community dedicated to preserving our intangible culture, which has been brought and passed down for thousands of years.

How to Contribute?

The dates for the submission in the photography contest on Wikimedia Commons are from 1 February to 31 March 2023. Probably you are wondering how you can take part.
